The Yellow Guitar takes inspiration from Picasso's "Old Guitarist" and Kadinsky's "Composition" paintings No. 4 and No. 5 - 1911; I thus produced a copper plate etching, combining the works of the two contemporary artists into my own copperplate print. Kadinsky considered his art works called "Compositions", as the main declaration of his artistic ideas, just as symphonies are milestones in the career of a composer.
