The 2009 Black Saturday bushfires in Victoria caused wide spread devastation and the greatest loss of life from fire since colonisation. Unfortunately this saw mill was lost in the devastation, but I was able to paint a resemblance of the mill from a photo I had on file taken before the devastation. Artistic license is taken by adding the 2 gum trees in the foreground.
